A few small choices when uploading make all the difference in your final gallery.
Do
- Upload 15 to 20 recent selfies taken in the past few months.
- Vary your angles: front-facing, three-quarter, side, looking up and down.
- Mix natural and indoor lighting — both teach the model something useful.
- Show different expressions: smiling, neutral, serious. Personality matters.
- Include different outfits and backgrounds — variety strengthens the model.
- Make sure your face is clearly visible and well-lit in every photo.
Don't
- Don't wear sunglasses or hats — they hide the features we need to learn.
- Avoid group photos, even if cropped. The AI gets confused by other faces nearby.
- Skip heavy filters (Instagram, Snapchat, beauty-mode) — they distort your real features.
- No blurry, low-resolution, or pixelated photos — quality in, quality out.
- Avoid extreme close-ups or far-away shots. Frame from chest up, ideally.
- Don't upload photos from 5 years ago — your portraits should reflect today's you.
